Modean and Goofch display their
winter fashion
Well, it's been no walk in the park, adjusting to life in North Carolina. The
hardest adjustment has been the weather. We've had to learn to dress for the
cold. Modean's too embarrassed to wear his bomber jacket out in public, so he
just wears this neck-gaiter instead. But I'm not proud. I like to wear my
sweater. The neighbor behind us (Abraham) has a human (Stacia) who laughs
when I wear it, so it must be really cool. She likes to come and play with
Modean and me at the fence. Abraham is still trying to decide whether he'll
let us come over to his yard, but it's cool. I know how it can be when you're
new in the 'hood. .

Modean enjoying a private moment
As I survey the yard, I ponder over why this screen is here. Where does it come
from? How can I get a job there, and secure a C-level position in the
enterprise? I would design and market a screen shelter to place around a
dishwasher so that dogs could lick the dishes without the pesky humans
interfering. I would be wealthy and powerful, as God intended me to be...

Modean and Goofch enjoy a Panoramic
View of Lake Superior and Marquette, MI
Here we are on our vacation last summer in Marquette, MI. Modean was really
into the whole swimming in Lake Superior scene but I thought it was too cold
and the waves were too big. That's mom in the picture above. She tried to
make me swim. I was not too happy about that. No, not at all.
